The Stark County
Sheriff’s Office will begin an enforcement period focusing on Speed, Impaired
Driving and Restraint Use. This enforcement period will be from
FEBRUARY 13, 2012 through
February 21, 2012.
This will be an additional 16 hours of enforcement
throughout Stark County.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will have increased enforcement and patrol
throughout Stark County during this period and strictly enforce the laws
concerning speed, impaired driving and restraint use.
The Sheriff’s Office will continue, as in the past, to pay special attention to
high traffic accident areas and make every effort to reduce any further
accidents on Stark County’s roadways and intersections.
The Stark County Sheriff’s
Office received a grant through the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Ohio
Traffic Safety Office, which provides for the additional funding and allows the
Stark County Sheriff’s Office to participate in these programs.
